What do health experts think about bathing every day?
James Hambli, is a preventive medicine specialist and professor at Yale University. He hasn't bathed in 5 years.
He says that it all started as a study into the positive and negative effects of bathing daily. For this, the number of showers progressively decreased, as well as the time and the cleaning elements used (less soap, shampoo, etc.) . He says that he is very well, he does not feel sick or anything related, although this is not unusual because this was the reason for the study, and it is known that the body contains millions of microorganisms on our skin that serve as a protective barrier, When we bathe we eliminate them and they must reproduce again, this leaves us vulnerable in that recovery period.
Thus, he also says that the bad odors were eliminated until leaving with a natural aroma and nothing uncomfortable. It doesn't smell like flowers but it doesn't smell bad either, not even a little bit. He says that the bad smell is due to the reaction of our body to the different components of deodorants, powders, etc. and that by eliminating them, the bad smell will gradually go away.
So as we can see, a health expert shows that it is not good to bathe every day, and even takes it to the extreme with the 5 years that he has not done so.
5 years? Didn't stink? Oh bullshit.
ReplyDeleteNow I know why I hate showering, it's unhealthy for me, maybe a contributor to aging skin.
ReplyDeleteI don't like extremities with regards to health. Everything in moderation will take you into a nice old age. We all age, but rather with a nice smell.
