What is your favorite Christmas dinner and why?

In my family we have had the same menu for forty years. We are not interested in changing it, what's more, we expect it in every December of holidays as a condition without which it would not be December. They are tastes acquired by broad agreement among all.

Both at Christmas and at the end of the year, stuffed chicken is a constant, it is eagerly awaited. It is a dish that has to be worked on, and the result is very tasty, macerated for a day with condiments and in whiskey, stuffed with ham, cheese, black and green olives, roasted bell peppers, hard-boiled eggs and served warm, this is one of the secrets

My daughter prepares the traditional stuffed eggs, and before her, her older sister, who taught her how to make them.

A niece brings her sweet and sour rolls, her delicious specialty.

There is no shortage of my son-in-law's pastries, with sticks of potatoes, carrots or grissini to dip them in.

Tabbouleh, hummus, tomato salads, Russian salad, that varies around the central menu. Without missing the homemade sweet bread, of course.

As you can see, they are holiday parties —Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year's Eve, New Year— purely for the family and with the desire to participate.
